The 2010 World Series of Poker Commences

The 2010, 41st WSOP is underway and Poker-on-Line is here to give you all the information that you need to stay up-to-date with the most important tournament in the world of poker.
This year the World Series will include 57 events, and, as in every year, will host thousands of players from around the globe. New, personalized golden bracelets will be handed out to the winners of this years events.
The tournament commenced on Friday with event #1, the 2 days Casino Employees No Limit Holdem.
Then on Saturday the intriguing and prestigious $50K Poker Players Championship commenced. The Poker Players Championship, which began only in 2006, draws the biggest name in the world of Poker, all coveting the prestigious golden bracelet, and the honor of winning the event.
Last year it was David Bach who took home the prestigious title. This year a little more than 100 players have paid $50K each for the opportunity to win the event. Hot shot names, who are participating in this years championship include: Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Eric Seidel, Gus Hansen, Mike Matusow and many other leading names.
Next events to initiate are #3 the $1,000 2 days No Limit Holdem and event #4, the 3 days, $1,500 Omaha Hi Low Split 8 or better.
