France Poker Series the new Live Tournament by Poker Stars

Leading online poker room Poker Stars is announcing the launch of a new live tournament. The France Poker Series (FPS) will be held in France and leading site’s Blog promises that the new tournament will be “the most exciting series of live tournaments ever to hit the country.”

The first season of this live tournament will include eight events taking place in various locations across France, including Beaulieu, Divonne, St Amand and more. All events require a Buy in of €1,200, and a guaranteed minimum prize pool of €300,000.

The FPS Grand Final will be held in Paris, with a €2,500 Buy in. Winners of the FPS five events will be granted a complimentary package to the Grand Final Event.

The 2010 season of the FPS will commence May 1st in Casino de Beaulieu in Beaulieu. The next event will take place in Divonne in September. Exact location and date for the Paris Final have not been determined yet.
