It was only yesterday that the WSOP announced the return of its Tournament of the Champions, and already it stirs enormous excitement in the poker world.
More than 40,000 votes have been carried out in the World Series of Poker website, for the participants of this $1,000,000 prestigious freeroll, open only to WSOP bracelet winners.
World Series of Poker has already published a list of The 50 players who received the most votes so far. It comes as not surprise that this list includes some of the biggest poker players in the world today: Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson and Peter Eastgate, are just a few of the A list players who entered the list.
Of the 50 only 20 will get a chance at winning the prestigious event. The 20 will join Annie Duke, Mike Matusow, Mike Sexton, Joe Cada and Barry Shulman who have already gained entry to the event as winners of last years WSOP tournaments.
The All Stars Tournament will start on June 27. Final table will take place July 4th. It will be televised and aired on ESPN.
