Sega Enters the Gambling Arena

Sega, the gaming giant will expend its activity to online gambling. It will focus on poker and casino games and will operate through two branded websites: Segacasino.com and Segapoker.com. 

The websites will be powered by Playtech the leading software developer in the gambling industry. Sega will operate the gambling activity through SegaGames Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings Inc, traded in the Tokyo Stock Exchange. 

The company is planning to integrate its popular characters and titles in the websites. So playing in the websites you may come across characters like Sonic the Hedgehog, Virtual Fighter, Golden Axe, Super Monkey Ball and many other popular figures. 

Sega’s gambling activity was awarded with a full interactive online gambling license by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and is expected to commence its gambling activity in October.
