Tentative Schedule for the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker Released

Online poker fans, have we got news for you...PokerStars blog released the tentative schedule for the 2009 WCOOP. In releasing the schedule PokerStars is urging online poker players to express their opinion on the schedule and affect its structure. 

The WCOOP, held annually by PokerStars is considered to be the biggest online poker tournament today, in terms of players’ volume and cash prizes. Its 2009 edition, taking place Septemebr 3 to September 21, is expected to break all online participation records with a $40M guaranteed over 42 events. 

The 2009 WCOOP features, 14 events offering a $1,000,000 or more guarantee. The icing on the cake for the tournament is, no doubt, the 2 days main event, commencing September 20 and offering an astonishing $10,000,000 guarantee.
